"Allegedly" by Tiffany D. Jackson

In this episode, we discuss Tiffany D. Jackson’s first novel, "Allegedly". This YA Thriller was published in 2017 and follows a young black girl named 'Mary B. Addison [who] killed a baby. Allegedly.'
The drink we’ve chosen to pair with this episode is a Christmas rum punch, like the characters drink at a Christmas party at Mary’s lawyer’s house. This is one of the few happy moments in the book, so it felt fitting to celebrate. The drink is made with white rum, cherry juice, cranberry juice, simple syrup, allspice, ginger, nutmeg, and ginger ale.
